Facilities and Bottling Plants

Energy Efficient Bottling Plants - Green Facilities | Coca-Cola

Things are greening up! We're fixing leaks, insulating pipes and making investments in efficient lighting and renewable energy to create green facilities and bottling plants. Our goal is to grow the business, not the carbon in our manufacturing operations and to improve the energy efficiency and reduce emission of green house gasses in cold drink equipment. Since 2007, we’ve reduced our overall carbon footprint by 11%. It is with pride that we introduce the 2009-2010 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CRS) Report forCoca-Cola Ltd. and Coca-Cola Bottling Company. To us, CRS is the intersection where sustainable communities and our businesses meet. It's also about meeting the expectations of our employees, customers, consumers and stakeholders, while improving our overall business performance.
