Coca-Cola Recycling

Recycling - Recycling Cans & Plastic Bottles | Coca-Cola

Did you know that Coke was the first ever to commercialize a food or beverage bottle made from recycled plastic? We need your empty beverage containers to make new ones. So much so that we operate our own recycling collection company. Since 2007, Coca-Cola Recycling has worked with the
Coca-Cola system and community partners to increase the collection of beverage packaging for use again in North America. We currently manage 30 dedicated recycling centers, a commercial brokerage network, an online recycling bin fulfillment site and the execution of hundreds of local recycling programs around the country. With your help, Coca-Cola Recycling is developing cost-effective solutions for reusing beverage containers. Last year CCR recovered over 200 million pounds of recyclables and has a goal to reach 500 million pounds by 2010.
