Olympic Games - 2010 Olympic Winter Games | Coca-Cola

The Coca-Cola Company has been an Olympic partner since 1928 and is the longest continuous corporate supporter of the Olympic Movement. The Company works with National Olympic Committees in more than 200 countries to help athletes train and compete. More than 90% of the Coca-Cola system's investment in the Olympic Games is directed to athlete development and to assist in staging the Games. Products ofThe Coca-Cola Company refresh athletes, volunteers, officials and spectators during the Olympic Games; and supporting programs such as the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay allows Coca-Cola to help share the Olympic spirit throughout Canada and around the world. Coca-Cola Canada is using its sponsorship of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games as an opportunity to make a positive contribution to both the health and wellness of Canadians and the environment. All 4,500 Coca-Cola torchbearers were individually chosen because of their commitment to either active living or environmental responsibility. We hope that these men and women, who have shown remarkable dedication to living active or environmentally conscious lives, will encourage others to make a positive difference in their lives as well. Athletes all over the world spend years training and sacrificing to compete at the Olympic Games. Coca-Cola is proud to have supported the Olympic Games since 1928, and you’ve had a hand in this effort just by drinking Coca-Cola products. Since 1928, The Coca-Cola Company has refreshed athletes, officials and spectators alike at the Olympic Games. And we’ve been there every Olympic Games since with beverages and so much more. In 1986, Coca-Cola became a charter worldwide partner of the International Olympic Committee, supporting the staging of the Games and the training of athletes around the world. By drinking Coca-Cola products, you've helped us turn athletes into Olympians.
