Kelcie Thomas created a childhood obesity prevention and awareness program for elementary school children to educate about healthy eating and exercise habits. Through her program, Kelcie arranged and taught dance at local elementary schools and 4-H classes, reaching over 300 children.
Kelcie's brochure from this program has been made available to more than 245,000 children in Utah and is also being used in schools in Washington, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Mississippi as part of their health and fitness programs.
Kelcie has donated exercise equipment to over 80,000 Utah children through fundraising efforts.
