Coca-Cola Ltd. works to make a difference in our communities. Giving back to our communities and feeling good about working at Coca-Cola Ltd. go hand-in-hand, which is why we are partnering with the United Way on this endeavour. They are one of the best known community organizations and support a network of over 200 health and social service agencies.
Every year, Coca-Cola Ltd takes part in a large-scale United Way workplace campaign. The employees arrange silent auctions, raffles and other fundraising efforts. The Company also supports this campaign by matching the employee pledges as well as providing incentives.
In 2007, a team of very enthusiastic staff members showed their support and commitment by climbing the 1,776 steps to participate in the Corporate CN Tower Climb for United Way fundraiser.In 2006, Coca-Cola Ltd…Had 55 employees placed on the Leading Organizations Honour Roll. These were employees who personally donated $1,000 or more in that year.Achieved Corporate Honour Roll status. The Corporation donated over $50,000 to United Way.Earned a spot on the Employee Honour Roll. Employees raised $25,000 or more for United Way.Received the Employee Campaign of the Year for companies with fewer than 250 people, and also won the Campaign Spirit Award.
