There are nearly 400 national parks around the country, home to our grandest canyons, highest mountains, largest rivers, oldest forests and historic and cultural treasures that tell the story of America.
For over 40 years, Coca-Cola has supported America’s national parks. Through our partnership withthe National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, Coca-Cola has donated over 4 million dollars in the last 4 years for restoration and renovation of our parks. This includes maintaining and rebuilding 260 miles of trails so families can be active together while enjoying the great outdoors.
In 2010, Coca-Cola sponsored "America’s Favorite Park" contest. During this contest, Coca-Cola donated $200,000 to the National Park Foundation and you donated nearly 500,000 My Coke Rewards points and over $25,000 through direct donations to the National Park Foundation. Overall, Coca-Cola donated more than $500,000 in grants to parks across the country for new equipment such as bikes and kayaks, and the restoration and construction of activity areas.
