Ocean Conservancy

Ocean Conservancy | Coca-Cola

For over 15 years, we’ve partnered with Ocean Conservancy to clean litter from the world’s waterways. Every year in September, more than half-a-million people in 100 countries participate in theInternational Coastal Cleanup (ICC). During this one day event, millions of pounds of trash are removed from beaches and waterways all over the world and data is collected on what they find. This data is then analyzed by Ocean Conservancy staff and used to help find solutions for reducing marine debris. In the past 24 years the ICC has gathered 8 million volunteers to remove more than 125 million pounds of marine litter from 270,000 miles of beaches and inland waterways. Since 1995, Coca-Cola has been involved, helping raise awareness of the marine litter issue and encouraging others to help. Join us in September for the ICC and help us keep our oceans clean.
