We're giving your child's growth and development a high priority through our association with schools and in our after-school programs. Here's what we've been doing:
In 2006, we and others in the U.S. beverage industry helped create school beverage guidelines for elementary, middle and high schools in the U.S. We began removing full-calorie sparkling beverages from schools and increased low-calorie and zero-calorie sparkling beverages in U.S. high schools. Since 2006, we've helped reduce total beverage calories provided to U.S. schools by 88%.
For more than 60 years we've partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America producing programs like Triple Play, which has taught over 1 million kids to get active and make sensible, balanced food and beverage choices.
My Coke Rewards® for Schools has provided much needed sports equipment and teaching materials for schools. Over 6,000 schools have registered for this program.
