The Heart Truth

Women's Heart Disease Awareness - Diet Coke and the Heart Truth | Coca-Cola

Did you know that heart disease is the #1 killer of women? Heart disease affects 8.6 million women each year. And one-third of women underestimate their own risk for heart disease. For four years, Diet Coke® has been a passionate supporter of The Heart Truth® campaign to help raise heart disease awareness and to help women get heart smart. During the month of February, you helped us reach our goal of raising $100,000 for women’s heart health programs by capturing and planting flags. Thank you! Your participation helped us spread awareness of heart health programs far and wide. Please continue to educate your friends and family about heart disease. ABOUT THE HEART TRUTH CAMPAIGN The Heart Truth is a national awareness campaign, sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHBLI), being embraced by millions who share the goal of better heart health for all women. The campaign not only warns women about heart disease, but it equips them to take action against risk factors.
