Rebiana

Rebiana

Rebiana is the common name for rebaudioside A, a natural, zero-calorie sweetener found in stevia leaves. It is made using a process similar to that used to make other natural flavorings, such as vanilla, spearmint and cinnamon. It is about 200 times sweeter than table sugar and contains nothing artificial or synthetic.
The FDA began allowing rebiana in foods and beverages in 2008 after studies demonstrated its safety. It is safe for people of all ages, including children.
In the U.S., rebiana is used in a variety of foods and beverages and in the tabletop sweetener Truvia™.
