Our Torchbearers Help Ignite the Olympic Spirit
On October 30th the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay began in Victoria, BC and is racing its way through Canada. For over three months, 12,000 torchbearers will carry the Olympic Flame on its 45,000 kilometer journey through over 1,000 Canadian communities. The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay will be the longest relay held by a single country in the history of the Olympic Games.
It’s quite an honor to carry the Olympic Flame during the relay. All of the Torchbearers selected by Coca-Cola were nominated for being champions of positive living in their communities. The Torchbearers selected by Coca-Cola are making a difference in areas they felt passionately about: balanced living, community or recycling. See how our Torchbearers made an impact in their community and inspired others to make a difference.
