Alison Hestrin Lerner wrote the children's book,
The Greenstreet Kids:The Earth Warriors, which encourages environmental stewardship.
Alison’s mission is to help kids grow up green. Her book is designed to educate about the environment and inspire kids to save the planet. She reads her book and imparts sustainable values in elementary schools, libraries and youth organizations around the country.
Alison also organizes beach clean-ups and started a battery recycling program for hospitals to prevent over 10,000 batteries per month from polluting landfills.
