Laura Webber founded the 4-H Million Trees Project to inspire 4-H youth members to plant trees to address global climate change. To date, over 25,000 participants in 42 U.S. states and Canadian provinces have planted over 70,000 trees.
The program provides opportunities for youth participants to take on leadership roles such as delivering speeches to raise awareness of the project and writing grant proposals to raise funds for trees.
Laura's speeches, articles and actions have inspired youth across the country to become environmental leaders in their communities.
