Water and Development Alliance (WADA)

Helping Address Global Water Challenges

We have created a unique partnership with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to address community water needs in developing countries around the world. With a combined investment of $20.4 million since 2005 from various sources, WADA is having a positive impact on the lives of people and the health of ecosystems in 21 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

USAID recognized The Coca-Cola Company with the 2007 Alliance of the Year award for our efforts to promote sustainable water management. The award is given annually to recognize outstanding public-private partnerships that address international development challenges.
