Take some time to reflect on your values and interests, write down the things that come up over and over again as being important, and then define exactly how they are important. Even if there are things on this list that you don’t think is possible right now, write them down anyway. This process is all about getting clear about what matters most, so do not skip it.

Once you start putting your plan into action, do not stop until it's done, and even then, don't stop. Keep on doing whatever it takes until you've reached success.

The second step is doing the work every single day no matter what happens or how much effort feels like too much at times. You might feel discouraged by failure or overwhelmed by the amount of work ahead of you, but if those feelings aren't enough for you to give up altogether, then maybe they'll just be enough for me instead. Just kidding. I'm here with my endless supply of encouragement (and snacks). But seriously: Do not give up on yourself or this journey, ever.
