Hawaii Oncology has its roots in community practice and academic medicine dating back to the early 1990's. At that time a group of University of Hawaii faculty collaborated to offer Hematology and Oncology consultative services at Kuakini Medical Center and The Queen’s Medical Center. Over the subsequent 25 years, the group added faculty, community practitioners, and expanded office sites at Pali Momi Medical Center and Saint Francis Medical Center.
