Thanks to all the properties they contain and the almost limitless compositions created with them, essential oils can help us in many situations on a daily basis. We have gathered here some recipes of essential oils that will help you fight against everyday life’s little hassles.

First of all, you have to use essential oils with great care. They are even often prohibited for pregnant women less than 3 months and children under 3 years old.

1. Recipe of essential oil: fight against bad odors

It’s never nice to live in a house that doesn’t smell good. However, between tobacco, stale food, and cooking, there are many bad smells. It is recommended to ventilate the house to get rid of it, but sometimes that is not enough.

Essential oils will help you fight against this problem by diffusing perfumes in the room that will make bad smells disappear.

The recipes of essential oil are numerous, but here is one that will give your home a natural and fresh smell:

  • In a diffuser, pour 3 drops of grapefruit essential oil, 2 drops of lemon essential oil, 2 of super lavender, 2 of pine sylvan, and 1 of eucalyptus oil.

2. Recipe of essential oil: for good sleep

If you suffer from sleep problems and insomnia, mix about 300 grams (a small amount of oil) of distilled or mineral water with 20 drops of lavender essential oil in an old spray. And use it to perfume your bed before sleeping along and put a little bit on your pillow for the soothing scent of oil, helps your body relax, calm your nerves, and sleep well.

3. Recipe of essential oil: to strengthen the immune system

Take 30 drops of Lemon essential oil for its detoxifying activity, 100 drops of Ravintsara for its anti-infectious properties, 10 drops of Thyme Thymol also for its anti-infectious role, and 30 drops of Tea Tree to eliminate bacterial infections and stimulate white blood cells. Mix all the ingredients in a glass bottle and apply for one to three weeks three times a day. To do this, apply three drops on the chest as well as on the back and massage. Not suitable for children under 6 years old.

4. Recipe of essential oil: to boost energy

You can use this recipe of essential oils to enhance and supply energy in your body. Instead of drinking coffee or Nescafe, add 1 to 2 drops of rosemary essential oil to your body lotion, which you can use in the morning, and rub your body. Rosemary will help the blood circulation in your body as it delivers to every place, such as your lips, increase your attention and energy, and keeps you focused throughout the day.

5. Recipe of essential oil to relieve muscles pain

Whether you’ve come back from a workout or just taken a long walk, aches and other muscle pains are never far away.

We recommend this recipe for adults and children over 6 years old.

A mixture of the following four essential oils will help relieve your muscles quickly:

Nobel Laurel: its effect will push the body to repair muscle tissue that has been damaged by an activity. Besides, it will relax the muscles, thus reducing pain.

Wintergreen: this essential oil will also relax muscles, reducing cramps and aches.

Super lavender: it decreases the tension of muscles and relieves pain.

Combine this with oily Arnica macerate, a vegetable oil often used for sports pain. It has the power to make aches disappear quickly.

In a bottle, pour 100 drops of oily Arnica macerate and mix it with 40 drops of each essential oil (noble laurel, fragrant wintergreen, and super lavandin). When you feel pain, pour 4-6 drops in your hands and massage the painful part of your body. You can repeat as often as needed.

6. Recipe of essential oil for the face

An important characteristic of essential oils recipes is that you can use them as a facial toner. In this recipe, mix 3 drops of rose essential oil with 3 drops of essential orange oil with about 30 grams of tea tree oil or coconut oil if your skin is oily, and if your skin is dry, replace tea tree oil or coconut oil with 30 grams of aloe vera. Before use, rinse well and dry your face, then spread an appropriate amount of the mixture on your skin with a cotton ball, then wash and suspend and dry in gentle movements.

7. Recipe of essential oil to have white teeth

Don’t you dare to smile to the fullest because they are too yellow for your taste?

Teeth whitening can often be an inconsistent process. Indeed, most of the techniques used damage our tooth enamel. Essential oils are a good alternative, as they will allow you to have whiter teeth while using natural products.

For adults and children more than 6 years old:

This method combines the following essential oils:

Tea tree: this essential oil works against dental plaque thanks to its antifungal and antibacterial properties.

Lemon: in essential oil, it fights against the tart, thus whitening the teeth.

Field mint: containing menthol, it will give you a feeling of freshness. But that’s not all: it also has antibacterial properties.

To make this mixture, combine 40 drops of tea tree with 30 drops of lemon and 30 drops of field mint. When you brush your teeth, pour 2 drops on your toothpaste. You can use it for 3 weeks straight. Then stop for at least a week, and only continue treatment if you think you need to.

8. Recipe of essential oil to relieve sunburn

No matter how careful you are, a sunburn can sometimes happen quickly! If you have one, essential oils can calm the pain and quickly regenerate your skin.

For adults and children over 6 years old:

The essential oils you will need are as follows:

Pink geranium: it will regenerate and tone the skin, and, together with asp lavender, it will help to heal.

Lavender aspic: this essential oil is very effective against pain due to burns, thanks to its anesthetic action. It is also a perfect healing aid.

You will combine them with two other oils:

Apricot kernel vegetable oil: it will fight against premature aging of the skin caused by too long exposure to the sun. This is also what will allow the product to penetrate the skin better.

Calendula oily macerate: it has inflammatory properties, and its fatty composition will nourish the skin, helping to fight against dryness and better healing.

In a bottle, mix 4 ml (or 80 drops) of oily calendula macerate with 40 drops of apricot kernel vegetable oil and add 30 drops of rose geranium and 30 drops of aspic lavender.

Pour 2-8 drops of the product in your hand, depending on the amount needed, and massage your skin. Do it 3 times a day.

For children aged 3 to 6 years:

Substitute fine lavender essential oil for the aspic lavender, which will relieve pain, and set the apricot kernel vegetable oil aside.

In a bottle, mix 9 ml of oily calendula macerate with only 6 drops of pink geranium and 6 drops of fine lavender. Apply as for adults.

For pregnant women:

The ingredients are the same as for children but in slightly different amounts. Take 9 ml of oily calendula macerate and mix it with 3 drops of rose geranium and 6 drops of fine lavender.
